It marked Derulo's fourth number-one single in the United Kingdom, following "In My Head" (2010), "Don't Wanna Go Home" (2011) and "Talk Dirty" (2013). "Want to Want Me" remained at number one in the UK for four weeks. ==Music video== The song's accompanying music video was directed by Colin Tilley. It premiered on Tinder on March 23, 2015. The video features glamour model Tianna Gregory as Derulo's love interest in the video. The video opens with Derulo and his love interest reclining minimally clothed in their respective beds. With a fan on and most of the sheets having been pulled off Derulo's red bed, he sings that it is "too hard to sleep". He hails a cab to "get me there fast" and soon hooks up with his lady waiting on a blue bed.
